Make a significant impact on young learners' communication skills by working in a dynamic elementary school environment. This full-time contract position offers 35 hours per week and serves elementary caseloads. You may be providing services at two onsite school locations close to Waterbury, CT, giving you valuable exposure to diverse settings and student needs. Two openings are available for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists interested in supporting student success.

Preferred candidates will hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply—district supervision is available, though bandwidth is limited. School-based experience is required, as is an active Connecticut SLP license. Please note that SLPAs cannot be considered for this opportunity.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license in Connecticut (upfront licensure preferred)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly desirable
• Open to CFs; supervision provided as available
• Minimum of one year of school-based SLP experience
• Ability to manage elementary caseloads across two school sites
• Successful completion of district fingerprinting and background check
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Commitment to providing onsite services

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student progress
• Attend and participate in team meetings as requested
• Manage documentation and maintain student records in compliance with state and district guidelines
