2145 Eats in Costa Mesa, CA is looking for one PART TIME craft bartender to join our 35 person strong team. We are located on 2145 Placentia Ave. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged. Candidate must also be comfortable serving in addition to bartending.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Craft Cocktails or non-alcohol beverages
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Prepare Cocktails to the recipes the restaurant has set forth
• Plan and present bar menu (Beer, Wine, Cocktails). Present food menu.
• Prep bar garnishes to specifications set forth by restaurant.
• Prepare bar syrups and mixers to recipe standards set forth by restaurant
• Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Qualifications

• (2) years experience as a bartender in a restaurant or craft cocktail lounge.
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• RBS certification current.
• Food Handler Card current.
• Relevant training certificate is a plus but not necessary.
