Here you will make an impact by:Providing engineering leadership to the assigned areas of the Stafford Springs manufacturing plant and establishing a network of resources and contacts to meet business goals and customer needsSupporting legacy manufacturing systems and bringing forward your creativity to implement step change improvementsBeing part of a team that brings speed to the implementation of state-of-the-art manufacturing systemsSupporting site resources with technical knowledge and problem-solving acumenRequirements: Your Skills and Expertise: To help ensure your success in this role, Thermo Fisher Scientific requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Science or Engineering (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionFive years of Engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications, though not required for consideration, include:Experience with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens controls systems and hardwareExperience with automation, vision systems, and/or roboticsExperience with Wonderware (AVEVA) Historian, InTouch, or MESExperience with Inductive Automation Ignition SuiteExperience with CAD software and manufacturing documentation systemsSelf-starter who operates with a high degree of autonomyTravel: May include up to 10% domesticRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Compensation and Benefits: The salary range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $91,700.00–$122,200.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
