Overview On Site Home Visitor role for RN/BSN or LCSW/LMFT at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. This position is on-site as specified in the job post and is supported by Magellan Federal - AFSC. Responsibilities Provide support to eligible Families with expectant parents and parents of children from birth to 3 years of age, including information and referrals, parenting programs, respite care for children, and supervised play time. Deliver effective, timely and confidential services for Families assessed as at risk for child maltreatment and/or family violence; protect the privacy and confidentiality of client information. Identify and report suspected child abuse, neglect, and domestic abuse; assess developmental milestones and refer for indicators of special needs or developmental delays. Assist with strengthening adaptation to parenthood and parental capacity for problem-solving; promote developmentally appropriate parenting skills, disciplinary techniques, and parent–child communication. Facilitate informal and formal community networks to reduce social isolation and build positive relationships; develop relationships with local community and military installation officials and organizations to maximize program effectiveness. Utilize community-based services and networks to provide concrete support for families in crisis; use a strengths-based, family-centered developmental approach for screening, assessment, and addressing protective and risk factors. Maintain an up-to-date tracking system for case status; participate in monthly conference calls and annual training events. Position Details Title: On Site Home Visitor, RN/BSN or LCSW/LMFT, Fort Campbell, Kentucky Grade: 24 Qualifications Minimum Education Required: Master’s degree Required Experience: At least two (2) years in child abuse or domestic abuse, or maternal or child health or medical social work Licensure: Current and active license as LCSW, LMFT, or RN; RN requires bachelor’s degree in nursing and current unrestricted license; LCSW/LMFT requires master’s degree in Social Work and ability to practice independently Home visitation experience Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; ability to operate a motor vehicle Working knowledge of basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Ability to operate general office equipment and communicate effectively in person or by telephone Willingness to travel as needed in accordance with AFSC travel policies Ability to enter private homes, including settings with accessibility considerations Licenses & Certifications Required: LCSW, LMFT, or RN; state licensure appropriate to role Compensation Salary range: $58,440 – $93,500 Location Fort Campbell, Kentucky #J-18808-Ljbffr VetJobs
