Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Reporting to the Special Education Supervisor, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst is responsible for designing and implementing therapy programs to help treat patients with mental, social or learning disorders. In addition, the Behavior Analyst conducts student assessments, decides on the most appropriate intervention, and delivers effective treatment. Work Setting: School-BasedLocation: Fremont, CAEmployment Type: Per Diem (Variable)Pay Range: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour DOEWhat Youll Do:Conducting initial consultations with the student, where you may perform diagnostic assessments.Meeting with families, educators, and other collateral to obtain better insight into students' presenting concerns, as needed.Formulating an appropriate treatment plan that is sensitive to students' cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs.Administering treatment and tailoring interventions, as needed.Suggesting additional treatment by other professionals, as required.Able to create documents using MS Office Power Point, Excel, and Word.Advocating for the inclusion of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society.Attend IEP meetings.Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring:Associate or Bachelors degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, or similar; required.BCBA Certificate through Behavior Analyst Certification BoardAccreditation as a behavior analyst or suitable equivalentProven experience as a behavior analyst.In-depth knowledge of and thorough adherence to applicable ethical codes.Bilingual in Spanish preferred.Eligibility for benefits may vary based on employment status, classification, and other factors.
