Information Management Analyst - Mid Level

Salary: $103,450 - 197,730 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a business or science field, or four years of relevant education and/or experience.
• Four years of experience in information management, a business application function, or data delivery; alternatively, a business or science advanced degree and two years of experience in data and analytics, a technical function, or a relevant business function.
• Basic working experience applying data management practices and tools to address data management risks and concerns.
• Intermediate working knowledge of SQL, including SQL-based languages.
• Ability to build business knowledge through effective partnerships with individual contributors and leaders.
• Skills in understanding and correcting data discrepancies, identifying data anomalies, and conducting root cause analysis.
• Advanced communication skills, including the ability to present to all levels of management.
• Preferred: Experience governing enterprise AI capabilities, including AI agents, generative AI solutions, and intelligent automation platforms.
• Preferred: Knowledge of data governance frameworks, control environments, and data trust practices.
• Preferred: Hands-on experience with Alation, Bigeye, or similar governance and observability platforms.
• Preferred: Experience managing structured and unstructured data assets across complex enterprise ecosystems.
• Preferred: U.S. military experience through military service or as a military spouse or domestic partner.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes across information management responsibilities and workflows.
• Participate in, and potentially lead, cross-functional discussions that advance consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness in information management.
• Contribute to developing best practices and tools aligned with business needs.
• Maintain information asset inventories and ensure data and assets are appropriately classified.
• Support information delivery in line with governance standards and data management practices through documentation, collaboration, and execution of established processes.
• Partner with governance, technology, and business teams to identify critical data and develop suitable data quality rules.
• Maintain the metadata repository and ensure metadata is properly associated.
• Develop process improvements to reduce data quality risks, including plans, rule checks, monitoring, reports, and dashboards as appropriate.
• Document and update data quality corrective action plans.
• Support compliance assessments by reviewing and documenting failures in data quality checks, and identifying and escalating potential corporate risks.
• Create and maintain reference data according to defined processes and procedures.
• Help define and implement processes and enhancements that mitigate data quality risks.
• Support privacy initiatives by classifying, tagging, and analyzing sensitive data.
• Ensure sensitive data remediation and compliance with defined policies and processes.
• Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks associated with business activities in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
