Stormwater/Collections Operator - Key West, FL ($12,000/year COLA)

As a Storm Water/Collections Operator, you'll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services uninterrupted. Based in Key West, Florida, you'll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the operation and maintenance of the collection system on an assigned shift. You'll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to challenges that may arise in municipal facilities.

You will assist in operating and maintaining equipment including but not limited to backhoe, AquaTech, and dump truck; all equipment used in trenchwork, cleaning and clearing sewer lines; install new lines, adjust manhole covers, and frame replacement; inspect, repair, and maintain flowing conditions, patch streets and sidewalks; erect and repair fences; complete work orders and field complaint forms; and perform other duties as required. Most importantly, you'll?take action?to ensure the safety, health and well-being of you and your team.

* A valid driver's license with no major infractions

* High school diploma or GED

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

* Approved courses in collection systems

* Knowledge of collection system and tools, equipment, materials used to maintain and repair system
