Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel assignment in Wichita, KS, requiring AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS with a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

• Emergency Department setting with a high volume of behavioral health patients
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas or a compact state currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
• Required certifications (all AHA): BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• TNCC required, renewed every 4 years
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A renewed yearly; Groups B–F renewed every 2 years)
• CPI/MOAB High Risk training required: online portion must be completed prior to start; on-site portion completed during orientation
• Valid US Social Security Number and a US home address required
• Driver's License, 2 professional references, and copies of all certifications required for consideration
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
