Primary Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional resident experiences while supporting the unique needs of affordable housing communities and fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment. Oversee daily community operations, including leasing, renewals, resident relations, and occupancy strategies, with a focus on affordability compliance and resident retention. Manage the financial performance of the community, including budgeting, rent collections, delinquency management, and expense control, with integrity and transparency. Ensure compliance with affordable housing programs, regulatory requirements, recertifications, and all applicable federal, state, and local guidelines. Prepare and deliver timely, accurate financial, operational, and compliance reports for internal leadership and ownership groups. Lead, coach, and support on-site team members by fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Build strong relationships with residents, local agencies, community partners, and vendors to support successful operations and positive community engagement. What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Three or more years of experience in property management, with experience in affordable housing or tax credit communities preferred. Strong knowledge of affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, or other applicable compliance requirements. Proven leadership and team-building skills aligned with River View’s values of concern, creativity, passion, and the pursuit of perfection. Strong relationship management skills with a track record of building trust with residents, agency partners, and team members. Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, rent collections, revenue performance, and profit-and-loss management. Experience with property management software such as RealPage OneSite, Yardi, or similar platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to navigate resident concerns professionally and compassionately. Affordable housing certification(s) such as Tax Credit Specialist (TCS), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), or equivalent are preferred. $58,000—$68,000 USD** Joining River View Companies means becoming part of a team that values your growth, well-being, and contributions.
