About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Development to spearhead the growth of donor partnerships that support its mission. This leadership role is pivotal in expanding the organization's fundraising capacity and requires a candidate with a proven track record in major gifts fundraising, relationship-driven sales, or business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and building the development team, executing the fundraising strategy, and working closely with the CEO to drive major donor partnerships. Key responsibilities include setting clear expectations for the team, creating and implementing long-term fundraising strategies, and being a primary ambassador to donors and prospects. The role demands a leader who is politically savvy, partnership-oriented, and fully committed to the organization's mission of effecting policy change and promoting free markets.
