Ultrasound Systems Engineer

Job Title Ultrasound Systems Engineer Location Must reside in or within commuting distance to Bothell, WA. Responsibilities Apply acoustic wave propagation and signal processing theory to design and specify new imaging algorithms and imaging subsystems. Coordinate the design, development, and integration of new ultrasound systems and transducers. Tune diagnostic ultrasound systems for optimum image quality on a range of transducers and imaging features. Lead the complete development and implementation of new ultrasound imaging capabilities, including development plans, algorithm design, integration strategy, and software implementation. Collaborate with Research, Marketing, and Product Management to define new feature requirements for specific clinical applications and market needs. Develop and participate in medical ultrasound feasibility and research projects to support R&D. Qualifications Minimum 1+ years of experience with signal/image processing, filter design, and linear/nonlinear acoustic wave propagation. Proven experience in ultrasound imaging, beamforming, acquisition design, acoustic wave propagation theory, and clinical laboratory experience. Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams (Research, Marketing, Product Management). Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering (Master’s desired). Physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements met with or without accommodation. Benefits and Compensation The pay range for this position in Bothell, WA is $82,000 to $131,000.00. Other compensation such as annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long‑term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits program including generous PTO, 401(k) with up to 7% match, HSA with company contribution, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and more. Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.
