Senior Project Manager Insurance System Implementation

Role Summary

We are seeking a strong Project Manager with proven experience leading large-scale programs and managing senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will support the PMO for a core insurance system implementation , coordinating complex workstreams and ensuring delivery remains on track.

Experience within the Financial Services or Insurance industry is highly preferred .

Key Responsibilities

• Support the PMO and drive delivery across a large-scale core insurance system implementation .

• Lead and coordinate multiple complex workstreams, ensuring alignment with program objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.

• Manage and coordinate senior stakeholders across business, technology, vendors, and delivery teams.

• Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committees, and status reviews.

• Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, presentations, and decision materials.

• Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery blockers .

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

• Support PMO governance, reporting, documentation, and delivery standards.

• Drive accountability and maintain momentum across workstreams.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager on large-scale transformation programs.

• Experience managing senior stakeholders and executive-level governance .

• Strong PMO, project governance, planning, risk, dependency, and reporting experience.

• Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional technology workstreams.

• Financial Services or Insurance industry experience highly preferred.

• Experience supporting or delivering core insurance system implementations is a strong asset.

• Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote consulting environment.
