Research Associate

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and research industry, is seeking a Research Associate to join their team. As a Research Associate, you will be part of the External Research Solutions department supporting in vivo pharmacokinetic (PK), pharmacodynamic (PD), and PK/PD activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong scientific knowledge, excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Coordinate external in vivo PK, PD, and PK/PD studies at contract research organizations (CROs).
• Ensure compliance with study protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop study approaches, dose selections, and sampling strategies.
• Review proposals, protocols, data packages, and reports to ensure scientific rigor and timely execution.
• Identify potential risks and knowledge gaps, resolve barriers, and recommend practical solutions to keep projects on track.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline with 10+ years of industry experience, Master's degree with 5+ years, or PhD with 1-3+ years of industry experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in in vivo PK, PD, and PK/PD studies within preclinical drug discovery.
• Experience working with CROs, academia, or cross-functional scientific teams.
• Strong ability to influence without direct authority and operate independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.
