Position Overview The First Steps Developmental Therapist provides early intervention services to infants and toddlers (ages birth to 3) and their families in home and community-based settings. This is a contract position that offers flexibility to create your own schedule while delivering evidence-based developmental therapy services. Contract Position - Flexible scheduling with the ability to determine your caseload and availability Salary : $55.00 - $70.00 per hour Key Responsibilities Provide developmental therapy services in natural environments (home and community settings) Conduct developmental assessments and ongoing progress monitoring Collaborate with families, service coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and family-centered interventions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with FirstSteps and state requirements Educate and coach caregivers on strategies to support child development Why Embracing Abilities? Collaborative and supportive team culture Required Qualifications Applicants must meet all Indiana First Steps hiring and credentialing requirements , including but not limited to: Eligible bachelor's degree in the area of child development, special education, early childhood education, or nursing Experience working with young children and families preferred Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable form of transportation. Must meet Indiana First Steps qualifications.
