Financial Analyst

Financial AnalystImmediate need for a talented Financial Analyst. This is a 06 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Arizona (Remote). Pay Range: $45 - $50/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliationsPrepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and revenue reportsDevelop recurring and ad hoc financial reports using ExcelAssist with quarterly financial reporting and regulatory deliverablesAnalyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and business insightsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activitiesEnsure compliance with accounting standards and internal controlsCollaborate with finance and business partners to meet reporting deadlinesKey Requirements and Technology Experience:8 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experienceExperience supporting healthcare, managed care, Medicaid, or other regulated industriesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysisStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlineExperience with financial ERP systems (PeopleSoft, OneStream, or similar platforms)Knowledge of grants, federal funding, or government reimbursement programsAdvanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplineBachelor's degree
