Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric Med Surg patients, including post-operative and acute-care needs.
- Monitor patient status, interpret assessments and vitals, and escalate changes as part of the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, wound care, and supportive devices; manage isolation precautions as needed.
- Conduct pre/post-operative care, address sepsis, respiratory failure/COPD, AKI/renal issues, and other common diagnoses on the unit.
- Document care and outcomes in the Epic electronic health record; participate in daily rounds and discharge planning with the team.
- Collaborate with IV team, respiratory therapy, PT, radiology, social work, pharmacy, and rapid response to ensure comprehensive patient care; support CIWA/substance withdrawal management as indicated.

Requirements
- Active RN license in hand at time of submittal
- BLS certification
- Epic charting experience
- Travel experience required
- 2 years RN experience preferred
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- Able to work night shifts in a Med Surg setting serving adults and geriatrics
