Growing together.The Enterprise Information Security (EIS) team is responsible for cybersecurity across our organization. We support our business and members by reducing risk, rapidly responding to threats, focusing on business resiliency and securing new acquisitions.The Global Security Investigations program, part of UnitedHealth Group's Enterprise Security and Resilience Office, leads initiatives to investigate cybersecurity risk and fraud both internal and external to the enterprise.The Principal Cybersecurity Investigations Analyst, Global Security Investigations will conduct complex cybersecurity fraud investigations, provide expertise in investigative processes to organization stakeholders, and assist with the coordination between the enterprise and law enforcement. This role will also support team leadership in assisting in the development and refinement of end-to-end investigative processes.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end investigations into internal and external issues involving cybersecurity fraud and risk, to include evidence collection, analysis, chain-of-custody documentation, conducting interviews, and writing case summaries and reportsAssist team leadership with the development and enhancement of investigative processes which reflect current best practices and industry standardsConsult with internal groups on referrals to law enforcement entities, investigations, and riskEngage proactively with external law enforcement groups to maintain solid relationships and effect cross-collaborationSupport the collaboration of internal teams engaged with digital fraud across the organizationYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: 7+ years of experience conducting comprehensive investigations into allegations of employee misconduct or violations of state/federal criminal code in a law enforcement or corporate setting, in direct partnership with enterprise stakeholders5+ years of experience leading investigations into fraud (both financial and cyber), identity theft, and other internet-based scamsProven intermediate technical aptitude with the ability to understand network protocol, system/application logs, and their relation to investigationsDemonstrated familiarity with evidence handling procedures and chain of custodyProven intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to conduct investigations, collect statements and interviews, and communicate findings to stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications: Certified Fraud Examiner or Professional Certified Investigator certificationExperience conducting criminal or civil investigations at the local, state, or federal levelExperience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
