Security Officer for Warehouse Access

Position Security Officer for Warehouse Access – Santa Fe Springs, CA. Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour. Job Schedule: Mon, Thur, Sun: 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM. What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Control access to the location by screening visitors, drivers, and/or vendors, verifying credentials, issuing access permissions as directed, and documenting entry and exit activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observations, concerns, and/or unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Monitor gates, entrances, loading areas, and other key access points to help deter unauthorized entry, support orderly traffic flow, and follow post orders for deliveries and departures. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
