Permit Coordinator

Job Title

Pay Range: $51.40hr - $66.71hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Experience working in Semi-conductor or Data Center industries is highly regarded.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate permit requests, approvals, reviews, stakeholder communications, and permit tracking to ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with project requirements.
• Serve as the interface between field execution teams, system owners, permit authorities, construction management, ES&H, and operations personnel.
• Receive and track permit requests.
• Maintain permit logs, records, and status reports.
• Verify permit documentation is complete before review and approval.
• Maintain records of permit approvals, closures, and supporting documentation.
• Track permit status and permit performance metrics.
• Support audits and readiness reviews.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective action tracking when permit-related issues occur.
• Coordinate required reviews and approvals before permit issuance.
• Verify necessary hold points and approvals have been obtained.
• Facilitate communication between permit requestors and approval authorities.
• Confirm the work scope, boundaries, risks, and mitigation requirements have been reviewed.
• Support coordination of shutdowns, isolations, access requirements, and facility notifications.
• Ensure permit requirements are incorporated into work packages and pre-task planning.
