Medical Assistant

Perform clinical support services, assist with secretarial/clerical duties and maintain patient care documentation in medical records.

Minimum requirements:

• HS graduate or equivalent (or higher) required.
• 10 plus years of Medical Assistant experience or related experience may be substituted for High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of formal medical assistant or nurse aide training preferred.
• Substitution: Formal medical assistant or nursing aide training may be substituted with six months current full time experience in the clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or CNA.
• American Heart Association BLS Required

Other information:

This is a PRN / As needed position - no benefits.

Day shift: Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 0800-1630.

No weekends or holidays.
