This role provides critical network engineering expertise to a high-visibility, mission-essential environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide full-spectrum network engineering support including planning, design, evaluation, and optimization of network components supporting daily operations and mission systemsSupport network upgrades, installation activities, and lifecycle maintenance for the Air Force's RPA Operations CenterTroubleshoot, configure, and maintain Cisco-based network infrastructure, long-haul communication transport, and NSA Type-1 encryption devicesUtilize network test equipment to validate performance, identify issues, and ensure operational readinessSupport C4ISR-related mission systems and ensure network reliability for distributed operationsCollaborate with Air Force and contractor personnel, delivering clear communication and exceptional customer support.Work independently in a fast-paced operational environment and provide on-site technical expertiseBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related technical discipline and 8+ years of experience. Additional related experience and advanced certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.IAT II (CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, and/or Security+) is required.Current Top Secret SCI Security Clearance.Familiarity with: Cisco IOSIP routing protocolsLong-haul communication transportNetwork test equipmentNSA Type-1 encryption devicesC4ISR experience supporting mission systemsStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in team environmentsDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to lift up to 50 lbsPreferred QualificationsPrior military experienceCurrent CCNP is highly preferred.Current Top Secret SCI Security ClearanceExperience supporting UAV/RPA operations centersExperience designing, implementing, and managing virtualized network architecturesHands-on experience with Type-1 cryptographic equipmentExperience configuring and managing the network components of the AFRL SecureView systemPay Range: $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
