Job Opportunity: Neurohospitalist

Our organization is excited to announce a fantastic opening for a Neurohospitalist at our Kingston, NY facility. The Neurology Department is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist to become part of a rapidly expanding team of physicians in the Hudson Valley area. Currently, our Neurology department includes an inpatient Stroke Neurologist, three outpatient Neurologists, and a growing group of Physician Assistants. This position has arisen due to the increasing demand for services.

• Applicants should possess an MD (or equivalent) and must be board certified or board eligible in Neurology by the time of hire.

• Eligibility to obtain a New York State medical license is required.

• Demonstrated clinical proficiency in neurology, covering both inpatient and outpatient care.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.

• Strong communication skills and the capability to work within a multidisciplinary team are essential.

• Provide inpatient consultations at our facility and collaborate clinically across the Northern region of our network.

• Play a vital role in the expansion of both inpatient and outpatient neurology services.

• Work at a DNV-Certified Primary Stroke Center with after-hours tele-stroke support.

• Engage in practice within a Comprehensive Stroke Center network.

• Become a member of the growing Neurology Department.

• Participate in clinical care, teaching, research, and program development within our organization and affiliated institutions.

• Must be willing to travel occasionally for work-related meetings, training, and events, with a valid driver's license required for commuting to partner organizations within 90 miles of our corporate office.
