The primary focus of the job will be assembling, wiring, and building complex electro-mechanical instruments and products. Specific responsibilities vary by project; however, it is imperative that you have a strong technical aptitude and attention to detail. Experience with machining, additive manufacturing, and part modification is also highly desired.Job Duties:Assemble and debug new products, machines, and instrumentsSolder, build cables, and perform electrical assembly and troubleshootingUse CAD tools and documentation to understand how subsystems should be assembledDocument work done and any issues encountered in cloud-based defect tracking systemOrganize build area and keep a clean shopQualifications:High school diploma requiredAssociate or vocational school degree, or equivalent military experience desired4+ years of applicable experienceAbility and willingness to learn new technical skillsHighly motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent organization and analytical skills combined with attention to detailAbility to prioritize and plan effectivelyEthical and honest in every part of the jobOther Experience Desired:Experience in any of the following areas is a plus:SolidWorks or other CAD experienceKnowledge of and safe use of machine tools and fabrication of partsUnderstanding of electrical circuits and schematicsExperience with Microsoft OfficePay and Benefits:Pay commensurate with experience, ranging from $25 to $40 per hour.Benefits:Excellent Healthcare plan (Medical, Dental, and Vision) fully paid for by the company for the employee; partial payment for dependents401(k) plan with company match after 1,000 hours of serviceLong-term and short-term disability, AD&D and Life InsurancePaid maternity/new parent leave11 Paid holidays3 weeks of paid time off (PTO) per yearWe work to maintain the best possible environment for our employees, where people can learn and grow with the company.
