Junior RecruiterInsomniac Events is looking for an experienced Jr. Recruiter that will be responsible for sourcing and full-cycle recruitment efforts. This is not a fully remote position. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week on a set schedule.ResponsibilitiesProactively source, screen, interview and recommend candidates for open roles and effectively share talentSchedule interviews, coordinate with candidates and hiring teams, and prepare necessary interview materialsEducate candidates about Insomniac's mission, vision and values, while creating an engaging and memorable candidate experienceManage a high volume requisition load while balancing hiring speed with exceptional experiencePartner closely with hiring managers to develop sourcing strategies, interview plans and candidate assessment processesPartner with recruiting team on key searches and develop effective engagement strategies for pipelines of passive talentBuild and maintain diverse network through proactive market research, networking, referrals and building relationshipsResearch, implement and continuously improve sourcing strategies using online research, networking, social media, and other innovative methodsEnsure a smooth recruiting process by proactively communicating, managing expectations and providing timely process updatesSupport recruiting operations by maintaining accurate candidate trackers, managing candidate disposition and decline communication, ensuring ATS data integrity and supporting recruiting workflow efficiencyLeverage recruiting metrics and market insights to inform hiring strategies and improve recruiting effectivenessParticipate in recruiting, networking, and community events to strengthen Insomniac's employer brand and attract talentRecruit, train and onboard members on various teams and provide guidance and support to cross-functional partners as neededOther special projects and tasks as neededSome frequent travel may be required (economy)Qualifications4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in entertainment, agency, or technology environmentsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceExperience working with Microsoft Suite, Workday Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)Experience using advanced digital tools to enhance sourcing, candidate engagement and recruiting operationsStrong proficiency in candidate sourcing techniques across various platformsPassionate about building strong partnership and delivering exceptional service to internal business partnersPossess a wide range of experience on current corporate recruiting policies, best practices, and entertainment industry trendsExperience conducting behavioral based interviews, utilizing pre-employment assessments, and applying structured interviewing techniquesStrong ability to evaluate both technical qualifications and interpersonal competencies while making objective hiring recommendationsProven ability to solve complex recruiting challenges and deliver measurable results as an individual contributorExcellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyHighly organized, self motivated, and able to work independently in a high demanding, deadline driven environmentWorking knowledge of employment law, EEO compliance and recruiting best practicesDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment while handling sensitive informationWork EnvironmentMust be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environmentsMay work in drastic temperature climates on site at our eventsMust be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlinesEqual Employment OpportunityInsomniac strongly supports equal employment opportunity for all applicants regardless of age, ancestry, color, religious creed, family and medical care leave or the denial of family and medical care leave, mental or physical disability, marital status, domestic partner status, medical condition, genetic information, military and veteran status, political affiliation, national origin, race, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, intersectionality, or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law, rule, ordinance or regulation.California Hiring Salary Range: $70,304.00 - $85,000.00 USD
