The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the accuracy of accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to procedural standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:Contact customers about pending and past due invoicesDocument results and track progressFollow up routinely to resolutionForecast and Manage the Cashflow weeklyAnalyze and Report A/R related data semi-monthlyCompile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactionsProvide record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactionsPrepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for managersMonitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company proceduresReview, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reportsCollect appropriate data and prepare federal, state and local reports and tax returnsServe as back-up for other accounting dutiesSupport the preparation of year-end audit files and analysisQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
