Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Summary:This direct hire 2nd Shift Production Supervisor position offers a leadership opportunity in a manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This role is responsible for leading team members, coordinating production activities, and ensuring efficient and consistent operations.

Hours: Monday - Friday 1:30pm-10:30pm plus Saturdays 9:00am-2:00pm as required

Pay: $60,000-$65,000/yr

Responsibilities:Lead, train, and motivate production team members on assigned shift

Coordinate daily production activities to meet quality and output goals

Troubleshoot equipment and support machine operation as needed

Maintain clean and safe work areas following safety procedures and standards

Perform mold changes and support assembly and disassembly using overhead cranes

Monitor product quality and use feedback to drive process improvements

Maintain production records and employee data using systems such as SAP and Kronos, defined as workforce and operations tracking systems

Communicate shift updates, production concerns, and ongoing needs to leadership

Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency

Qualifications:High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate preferred

Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Prior leadership or supervisory experience required

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to perform basic math and take accurate measurements

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

Ability to lift up to fifty pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending and reaching

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain consistent productivity

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, defined as a system focused on reducing waste and improving efficiency, preferred

Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and hand tools
