Quality Engineer

General Responsibilities: The Corporate Quality Engineer is responsible for all facets of quality in the production phase. Position will require up to 40% travel (including international).Examples of Typical Activities:Comply with all Quality Management System processes/standards/deliverablesEvaluate consumer returns to identify root cause and work with other functions (Manufacturing, Engineering) to identify appropriate corrective actions; complete all required documentation and reportingReview all internal and external root cause/corrective action submissions including supporting evidence, preventive actions and lessons learned; resolve any identified inadequaciesConduct regular on-site factory quality process and product audits to provide oversight, ensure quality system compliance; audits of sub-suppliers to be conducted as requiredConduct internal audits of the Quality Management System; work cross-functionally to resolve any identified inadequaciesAnalyze customer (ref. subcommittee, on-line reviews), supplier and internal data; identify issues and trends and refer to CAPA processProvide relevant metrics and reporting Required Experience BS Degree in technical field required; 2-5 years of experience in quality.
