PGS Worldwide
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Drafter in Elkton MD for an approximately 6-month onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will create and revise 2D CAD drawings and 3D CAD models for product tooling and testing components and assemblies.
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience in CAD drafting and modeling
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling
- Experience with 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
- Experience with drafting
- Proficiency with Siemens NX CAD
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter
- U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Skills
- Experience applying GD&T
- Knowledge of ASME standards
What Youll Do
- Plan lay out draw and revise detailed part assembly and installation engineering drawings.
- Create 2D CAD drawings and 3D CAD models for product tooling and testing components and assemblies.
- Complete details of major layout drawings prepared by others using standard engineering drafting practices.
- Determine scaling and add reference planes centering and dimension lines hidden line interpolations and sectioning.
- Prepare specifications for parts assemblies and installations.
- Prepare complete production detail drawings.
- Contribute design modifications to improve product quality or facilitate manufacturing operations.
