Role Description This full-time Real Estate Agent role is a hybrid position based in Brooklyn, NY, combining in-office work at one of BRP’s Brooklyn locations with some work-from-home flexibility. The Real Estate Agent will represent buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants, managing residential and commercial property transactions from initial consultation through closing. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and generating leads, conducting property showings, advising clients on pricing and market conditions, preparing and reviewing contracts, and coordinating inspections and appraisals. The role also involves maintaining accurate listings, leveraging online and offline marketing channels, and ensuring timely follow-up and excellent customer service. Agents will collaborate closely with the BRP team to share market insights, attend training, and uphold the company’s standards of integrity, professionalism, and community-focused service. Qualifications Candidates should possess a valid Real Estate License in New York State. Candidates should possess strong Real Estate knowledge and familiarity with Brooklyn neighborhoods and local market trends. Candidates should possess proven Sales and negotiation skills to manage listings, offers, and closings effectively. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills and the ability to build long-term client relationships. Candidates should possess understanding of Real Property principles, contracts, and basic real estate law. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse and multilingual communities. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple transactions simultaneously in a hybrid environment. Proficiency with common real estate tools and technology (CRM systems, listing platforms, digital communication tools). Prior experience in residential or commercial real estate in New York City is preferred.
