Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology Job Opportunity in Marquette, MI

Quick Facts:

• Location: 850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855
• Start Date: 08/05/2026 (Orientation)
• Duration: Ongoing, approximately 10-14 days/month
• Shift: 6am-6pm in-house, with 6pm-6am on-call
• Hours/Week: 24 hours/week approximately
• Employment Type: Contract (W-2)
• Certifications: Board certified or eligible in Neonatology, NRP certified, proficiency in intubation, chest tube placement, central lines, paracentesis, spinal taps, exchange transfusion, thermal cooling, and ventilator management including oscillators and iNO
• Experience: Prior experience in Level III NICU settings preferred

What You ll Do:

• Provide advanced neonatal care to critically ill infants in the NICU
• Manage respiratory support including ventilators and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapy
• Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, and central line insertion
• Support stabilization and transfer of surgical and high-acuity cases
• Collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary team including experienced RNs, RTs, pediatric specialists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner electronic health record system

What You Need:

• Valid Neonatology Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility in Michigan
• Certification in NRP and relevant neonatal procedures
• Minimum 2+ years of NICU experience, ideally in a Level III setting
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal respiratory and critical care management
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including on-call hours
