Job Summary

The Production & Print Services Coordinator is responsible for managing document production, finishing, and print services to meet customer requirements. This role involves operating a variety of production equipment, coordinating job workflows, maintaining equipment and assets, and ensuring high-quality output. The position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach in a production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Production & Finishing Operations

• Operate standard finishing equipment, including paper cutters, inserters, laminators, and hole punchers
• Operate office and production equipment such as printers, copiers, fax machines, and scanners
• Operate high-volume printers, copiers, and mailing equipment (including folding and inserting machines)
• Perform quality inspections before, during, and after each production run to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Sort and scan hardcopy materials into digital or print-ready formats
• Inspect files for formatting issues, including font consistency, image resolution, and alignment
• Perform document and file conversions using standard software
• Integrate variable data into templates for customized printing
• Wrap, label, pack, and ship finished materials

Job Intake & Workflow Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for receiving, reviewing, and electronically logging customer job requests
• Estimate, schedule, and track incoming production jobs from start to completion
• Maintain job tracking systems and ensure proper storage of files for future reuse, including backups
• Troubleshoot and resolve production, delivery, and output issues to meet deadlines
• Assist in developing work processes, templates, and workflow improvements

Equipment & Asset Management

• Apply asset tags to office equipment and maintain accurate asset databases
• Track and coordinate equipment moves, additions, and changes across customer locations
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting
• Collect and submit meter readings for billing and reporting purposes
• Coordinate service calls and communicate with technicians using designated systems

Administrative & Inventory Support

• Maintain accurate reporting logs and billing documentation
• Process and distribute incoming and outgoing faxes and log activity for billing
• Process basic forms and update data using a PC
• Manage supply inventory and distribute materials as required
• Index and store electronic materials on various media for distribution and archival purposes

Customer Support & Training

• Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on equipment operation
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach in all interactions

Professional Skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple routine tasks and meet production deadlines
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
• Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and business maturity

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington D.C., DC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.34 - $21.62/hr.
