Join us and help run what runs the world. This position reports to: FOM Internship Overview As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed and showcase your skills by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is hybrid in Alpharetta, Georgia. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location and manage their own commuting arrangements. No relocation assistance or stipend will be offered. Main Responsibilities Process and reconcile employee travel and expense (T&E) reimbursements, ensuring accuracy, policy compliance, and timely payment. Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to expense reports, credit card transactions, and reimbursements. Review, validate, and submit vendor invoices while monitoring approval and payment status. Identify and resolve invoice processing issues to ensure accurate and timely vendor payments. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Document end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Analyze workflows to identify process gaps, risks, and control improvements. Recommend and implement enhancements to strengthen operational effectiveness and user experience. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related degree, in the United States. Have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions. Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Manage several tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality. Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress. The hourly rate is determined by qualifications, graduation year, and experience, expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
