This is a seat for someone who takes pride in clean, accurate, on-time wo Why It’s Worth Your TimeDirect visibility to the CFO with meaningful ownership of a defined property portfolio from day one.Stable, privately held firm with long-standing investor relationships and low corporate bureaucr acy.Lean, collaborative accounting team where your work is seen and val ued.Consistent schedule with a designated remote day built into the w eek.Opportunity to work directly with external clients and partners — not just internal stakehold What You'l l OwnPrepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties — and be able to defend every line.Manage the full month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycle for your portf olio.Maintain the general ledger with accurate coding, journal entries, and reconciliat ions.Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies prom ptly.Coordinate with outsourced AP staff to ensure accuracy, coding, and appro vals.Assist the Controller with acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing transact ions.Prepare property budgets and deliver variance analysis against act uals.Communicate directly with external clients on financial statements and property accounting mat ters.Support year-end audits and meet all internal and external reporting deadl Must -Haves5+ years of property accounting experience in multifamily real estate specifi cally.Proficiency in Yardi — must be able to operate it, not just naviga te it.Demonstrated ability to prepare complete financial statements and substantiate the work.Strong month-end close ownership — GL, bank recs, journal entries, and financial repo rting.Track record of meeting deadlines consistently with a low error rate.Ability to work independently after onboarding without need for close superv ision.Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for direct client intera Nice to HaveExperience coordinating with offshore or outsourced AP teams.Exposure to property acquisitions, dispositions, or refinancing transactions.Budget preparation and variance analysis expe #J-18808-Ljbffr Aprio Talent Solutions
