Step into an essential role supporting student health and wellness as a school nurse, working onsite with K-12 students in a dedicated health room environment. This contract opportunity is located close to Haverhill, MA, and offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek during regular school hours.

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Previous experience as a school nurse (LPN/LVN or RN) preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to handle minor injuries, emergency situations, and chronic health concerns
• Experience working with children and adolescents across K-12 ages

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and health services to students and staff
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation for each student
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures per individual health plans
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and implement crisis interventions when needed
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students’ health needs
• Promote health education and preventive care throughout the school community
