Line Cook - We Do Days! No Nights!

Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in preparing delicious meals according to our menu. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking food, maintaining a clean workstation, and assisting with food inventory management.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Strong attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
A team player with good communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma is a plus

Responsibilities:

Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
Cook food in various utensils or grillers
Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Check quality of ingredients
Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
