Data Entry Pharmacy TechnicianPharmcareUSA is seeking Data Entry Pharmacy Technicians!! Full Time and Part Time positions available FT - M-F, Day shift with occasional weekends PT - Weekend, flexible hours Pay is commensurate with experience in LTC Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance, FSA/ HSA, Paid time off and Holidays available for full time employees. Candidate must be certified as a pharmacy technician in the state in which they will be working, and available to work Full Time, including weekends.Essential Functions:Assist Pharmacist with input (when appropriate), filling and dispensing of all prescriptionsFill prescriptions per rules and regulations of all regulatory entitiesAnswer telephone calls, assist caller when appropriate, or enlist Pharmacist to assist if appropriatePrepare medications to be delivered to facility per delivery scheduleAssist any walk-in customers or direct to appropriate departmentAssist with ordering of medications from wholesaler along with proper inventory managementAssist with Medication Returns and E-Kit managementMaintain Pharmacy Technician License/CertificationWill comply with all Corporate Initiatives and utilize provided tools/resources as appropriateOther duties as assignedRequirementsJob Specifications:Critical EvaluationCommunicationRelationship ManagementEthical PracticeComputer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including PPTExcellent communication and organization skillsPhysical Demands:Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment such as calculators, copy machines and printers up to 100% of the time;Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively over the phone and in person;Must be able to see 100% of the time to recognize medications, detect inaccuracies, and observe the work of others with or without correction;This position is very active and requires standing for long periods, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching and stooping;Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time;Must be able to tolerate normal office/pharmacy environment and exposure to various medicationsPharmcareUSA is a national, closed- door, long term care pharmacy business with locations in multiple states.
