Job Description

Become a part of our organization as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Colorado Springs, CO. In this position, you will collaborate closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver exceptional rehabilitative care to our residents, aiding them in reaching their mobility and wellness objectives through tailored treatment plans and empathetic support.

• Support physical therapists in executing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
• Track and document patient progress, providing updates to the supervising therapist.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and necessary equipment.
• Inform patients and their families about therapy techniques and exercises for home practice.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines.
• Work alongside interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care.

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Previous experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care environment is preferred.
• CPR certification is advantageous.
