Full-Time School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Job OpeningPeyton, Colorado | 2026-2027 School Year
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for a full-time school-based position in Peyton, Colorado . This opportunity offers a rewarding chance to support students' communication development while working alongside licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in a collaborative educational setting.
Position Details
- Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Location: Peyton, CO
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: May 27, 2027
- Openings: 1 SLPA
- School Assignments: 1-2 school locations
Responsibilities
The SLPA will assist in delivering speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Duties may include:
- Implementing speech and language treatment plans
- Providing individual and small-group therapy sessions
- Assisting with speech-language screenings and data collection
- Tracking student progress and maintaining therapy documentation
- Preparing therapy materials and activities
- Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Supporting students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals
- Assisting with IEP-related documentation as directed by the supervising SLP
QualificationsRequired:
- Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License
- Ability to work effectively with school-aged students
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Previous school-based experience
- Experience supporting students with diverse communication needs
