Parts Counter Sales Associate

Job Description About the Role Thermo King of Knoxville is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Associate to join our team in a Parts Counter role. Serve as the primary point of contact to assist customers and internal departments to acquire parts, product, units or any other materials needed. Responsibilities Assist customers at the parts counter by identifying, locating, and fulfilling parts orders accurately and efficiently Process parts transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges using parts management software Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with stock organization and receiving Place purchase orders as related to acquire materials needed by customers Look up parts using catalogs, manuals, and electronic databases for Thermo King and related equipment Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, technicians and vendors All other duties as assigned. Requirements Must have 2 years of experience in parts counter sales, automotive, transportation or related field preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to identify and look up parts using catalogs or electronic systems Strong computer skills Strong organizational skills Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a team-first attitude Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and equipment as needed Forklift Certification Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Will be required on occasion to work more than 8 hours on one shift About Us Thermo King of Knoxville is a trusted dealer and service provider for Thermo King refrigeration equipment, proudly serving the Knoxville, TN region and surrounding areas.
