This role can be fulfilled either as a W-2 employee or by providing services as an independent contractor (1099). Candidates must select their preferred engagement type upon applying. Accountable To: Operations Manager 2

Accountable For: Providing mental health focused counseling services, completing assessments and treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring care is person-centered, evidence-based, and compliant with clinical and regulatory standards.

About Community Wellness Outpatient Mental Health Center: Community Wellness Outpatient Mental Health Center (CWOMHC) is a person-centered behavioral health organization committed to improving the mental and emotional well-being of individuals and families across our community. We offer a full continuum of outpatient services—including therapy, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and care coordination—designed to meet the diverse needs of our clients in a compassionate and culturally responsive environment.

Client Service Location Expectations: Assigned clients will be serviced as part of a substance use disorder day treatment program, under the terms of the company's memorandum of understanding (MOU) with that facility. Services are to be rendered on-site, directly to those clients while they are present at the day program, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM daily. Clients may be pulled from their scheduled day treatment activities to participate in individual mental health services, as scheduled by the company's clinical and scheduling teams.

Caseload Makeup: 15 Category P clients assigned for services in the community-based meeting room located at 5517 Governor Ritchie Hwy, Brooklyn, MD 21225
