Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift

**What you will do**We’re hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead day‐to‐day production operations in a plant-based manufacturing environment. This role reports to the Manufacturing/Production Manager and is critical to meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals while maintaining strong employee engagement.This position plays a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently, developing frontline teams, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.**What Does Success Look Like*** Meet daily production, quality, and safety targets for assigned work areas.* Lead, coach, and develop production employees to perform work safely and efficiently.* Maintain strong employee relations through consistent policy application and coaching.* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.* Monitor labor, materials, scrap, and productivity to meet cost and efficiency goals.* Identify and drive process, equipment, and standard work improvements.**What we look for**Required* Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.* At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.* Ability to work 12‐hour shifts, including nights and overtime as needed.* Experience using computer systems for labor, production, or inventory tracking.Preferred* Experience in union manufacturing environments.* Familiarity with standard work audits and continuous improvement practices.* Exposure to safety, environmental, and quality management systems.Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; Clarios will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visas for this opportunity.**What we do here:**St. Joseph - Distribution CenterOur St. Joseph, Missouri distribution center charges, packages, and ships the batteries used in cars, boats, motorcycles, and heavy-duty trucks.
