If you're passionate about making a positive impact as a Registered Dental Hygienist, we invite you to join our team!Dental Hygienist: Key ResponsibilitiesConduct oral health assessments, inclusive of oral cancer and other periodontal diseases.Perform thorough dental cleanings to remove plaque, tartar and stains from teeth.Take, develop and review dental x-rays.Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride.Assist the dentist with patient examinations and conduct follow-up treatment as directed.Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and overall dental health.Document patient dental history and maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.Adhere to all infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines.You may be a good fit for our Dental Hygienist role if you possess:Strong leadership and communication skillsA dedication to education and quality careOutstanding teamwork capabilitiesA drive for mission driven work and a welcoming attitudeExpertise in multitasking and managing interruptions efficientlyQualifications:Associate or Bachelors in Hygiene from an Accredited Program (Required)Current Michigan Registered Dental Hygiene License (Required)Local Anesthetic preferredVisit our website to learn more about the benefits of working at MCDC: mydental.org/careers.My Community Dental Centers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
