About This Role

Happy Hands PREP seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher to join our Team! We are expanding and looking to add to our team. This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.

We're looking for an imaginative and all-around fun preschool teacher to join our team. We want an individual who is interested in pursuing a career in education, who is genuinely kind and loving toward children, and has a passion for learning and helping others. We are looking for someone that has classroom experience or a degree in early childhood starting their career.

• Guaranteed 30 to 37.5 hours per week (we don't send you home if ratios are low)

• Schedule Monday through Friday 8:45am to 4:15pm during school year and 8:30am to 2:30pm during the summer

We do not offer health insurance however the state does offer insurance to employees who do not receive coverage from their employer. The state offers various plans which have better coverage then you would get with insurance through your employer.

Job Type: Full-time, Flexible Schedule Monday through Friday 8:45am to 4:15pm or 8:30am to 2:30pm

Pay: $19.00 - $23.50 per hour

Work Location: In person

Responsibilities:

• Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, educational activities, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Degree in Early Education
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build positive learning environment for children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willing to help the right person grow into the position.
