Qualifications:

• Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) required
• LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) endorsement required
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Familiarity supporting students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Developmental Disabilities (DD)

Responsibilities:

• Serve an average caseload of 20 students
• Deliver both push-in and pull-out instructional supports
• Focus on improving reading fluency, reading comprehension, and foundational math skills
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students’ academic and behavioral needs
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Communicate progress and strategies with general educators, specialists, and families
