Quality Inspector

Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Quality Inspector in Jackson, MS to oversee mechanical quality control and welding inspections for large-scale construction projects.

Impact
- Ensures all welding and mechanical installations meet strict industry codes and safety standards.
- Reduces project risk by identifying and correcting defects before system testing.
- Maintains accurate digital records of weld maps and inspections to ensure client satisfaction.
- Supports the site leadership team in maintaining a culture of high-quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities
- Create and interpret weld map isometric drawings using specialized computer software.
- Perform visual inspections of welds to determine compliance with project specifications.
- Document all inspection results and welding data in digital tracking tools.
- Assist project teams with pressure testing plans and system functions.
- Assemble final project documentation packages for client turnover.
- Test and qualify welders under various industry codes and standards.
- Follow Project Quality Assurance Plans and specific Test Plans (I&TPs).
- Verify the alignment of mechanical equipment and material standards.
- Coordinate with the Site Quality Manager on daily field inspection activities.
