Occupational Therapist

Location: 102-bed skilled nursing center Hours: 35 hours per week Salary: $39-40 per hour We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at our 102-bed skilled nursing center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a positive impact on their lives. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine their individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities to improve patients' functional abilities and independence Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients Provide education and training to patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to support their daily activities Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with facility policies and state regulations Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans Stay current with the latest advancements in occupational therapy and incorporate them into practice Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred Strong clinical and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in electronic medical records and documentation #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC
