Fire Protection Engineering Intern

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and quality-oriented individual with an interest in engineering to join our team as a  Fire Protection Engineering Intern . The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of post-secondary education in an accredited fire protection engineering or related programs such as chemical, nuclear, industrial or aerospace engineering. The successful candidate can expect to develop and apply their combustion science, special fire hazards / hazardous materials, and process safety skills.

Qualifications

Eligibility Requirements:

• Enrolled as a full-time student in an engineering program at a nationally recognized, accredited college.
• Two years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate engineering degree.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail orientated and organized.
• Ability to work up to 20 hours during the school year. Flexibility for school schedule/demands will be provided.
• This is not a remote position. This role is based in Raleigh, NC and requires in-person attendance. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office.
