RN - PACU

PACU RN Dayshift

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a dayshift position. This role requires commitment to excellence in patient care during the post-anesthesia recovery period. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients, providing post-operative care, and ensuring a safe recovery environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and progress in the PACU.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond to patient emergencies and take appropriate action.

Schedule

This position requires availability for a dayshift schedule from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, working four shifts per week. Call shifts are also required, with an average of one call shift Monday through Friday, and weekend call shifts available.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
