Shift Details: Shift 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Shifts Per Week 5 Scheduled Hours 40 Job Order Details Start Date 08/24/2026 End Date 11/23/2026 Duration 13 Week(s) Job Description: LOCALS OK/JAMES CANCER HOSPITAL / PACU RN - 1200-2030 - NO WEEKENDS -NO CALL Shift Details: (5) 8 hour shifts - Varying some 12p-8p or 1p-9p. No Call, No Weekends, No Holidays Experience: Must have at least 2 years PACU experience. No 1st time travelers. Patient Diagnoses: Majority Oncology patients Acuity varies from outpatient to ICU level care Specialty surgeries include flap reconstruction (ENT, breast, and other), thoracic, neurosurgery Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Agency staff have the following parking permit options (purchased through CampusParc at osu.campusparc.com): WMC Agency Permit (Most Convenient Option)-24/7 access to Wexner Medical Center Garage ($224.80/month) WB Permit (Budget Option)-Weekend/holiday access to 9th Ave East & West Garages-24/7 access to West Campus surface lots ($16.35/month) CXS Permit-Weekend/holiday access to 9th Ave East & West Garages-24/7 access to Buckeye (CX) and West Campus surface lots ($32.83/month) Please note: Parking costs and options are subject to change per CampusParc policies. Travel Compliance There is a strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start no exceptions. Please screen for any candidate vacation time taking place immediately after booking as this will likely cause a push due to fingerprinting delays. Please only submit to one location. Candidate must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign contract. TRAVELERS WHO ARE UNRESPONSIVE OR UNCOOPERATIVE WITH CREDENTIALING ARE AT RISK OF PUSH/CANCEL. All candidates who are currently outside the state of Ohio but within driving distance will be required to drive to a fingerprinting location in Ohio as soon as possible after booking. Travelers who are extreme distances from Ohio will be mailed a fingerprinting packet, which is to be completed urgently upon receipt. Detailed instructions will be sent to the candidate by the Credentialing team. RTO required with submission, must be built into contract Locals are accepted at the same rate Reference Requirements: 2 professional references are required. At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity (e.g., a supervisor). Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference. No coworker references accepted. Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location RNs- must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission. MRI techs - submittals without OH license are acceptable. Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
