Onboarding Specialist

Job Summary Onboarding Specialist - Intermodal will be onsite and is responsible for communicating with contractor applicants and leads to hire qualified contractors to our existing fleet in an efficient and timely manner. Constantly striving to ensure all contractor applicants’ files meet DOT and FMCSA standards and requirements. Responsibilities Successfully manage a region of contractor applicants throughout the hiring process Work with new applicants to complete the onboarding process in a timely manner Consistently communicate with new contractor applicants regarding carrier processes Be pleasant, patient, and responsive to new contractor applicant’s questions and concerns while resolving issues Collaborate with Terminal Managers (TMs) assigned to their region on applicant pool and transfer contractors over to the TMs on the contracting date Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am - 4:30pm Skills & Experience Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Power Point) Strong skills and knowledge on building DOT/FMCSA contractor and equipment files Strong communication skills to meet goals with applicants completing files 1-3 years’ experience in recruiting, preferably intermodal trucking with Tenstreet software experience a plus Knowledge in HIPPA compliance Strong attention to detail Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and solve personnel-related problems High School Diploma/GED required Accountable to company core values: Customer and Contractor Focused, Innovative, Relationship Builder, Accountable, Purposeful Communicator, and Exceeds Expectations Work Authorization Authorization to work in the U.S. Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life and Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time FSA Employee Assistance Program #J-18808-Ljbffr
